It’s hard to find a book to read with your children that captures the attention of both adults and children. I found it in this book! I read one chapter a night to my 8-year-old son, and he really enjoys each lesson. He is afraid of bees, so the book helped ease his fears. We have also been able to apply biblical principles to his everyday life in a way that really hits home.

The lessons about working together and the power of words have been especially helpful. Overall, this is a wonderful book to share with your children.

Great Lessons for All and a Good Read

I began reading this as a kind of devotional, and the spiritual lessons became even more meaningful while visiting a friend who had begun beekeeping. As we worked on his new hives and talked about bees and their habits, the connection between the life of the hive and the lessons in this book became wonderfully real.

This is a fun and informative book, but more than that, it really does offer life lessons for each of us. It is an easy read and one book you’ll be glad you opened.
